We is organising a table quiz to raise funds for the school. The quiz will take place in the Village Hotel on Friday the 24^th of May at 8pm. A table can be made up of 4-6 adults. We will have a 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd prize. There will also be a raffle at the interval!

Bring a team along, it will be lots of fun!!!

We are organising an assembly for grandparents to come in and celebrate our school environment. We will also be celebrating the many different cultures in our school.

 

A Feast of Trees

Féile na gCrainn

National Tree Week takes place from the 3^rd to the 10^th of March. This year the main focus of national tree week is to encourage people to plant trees that provide a food source for humans, birds, bees and other wildlife. Check out the National Tree Website.

 Seachtain na Gaeilge

We will be celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge from the 11^th to the 15^th of March. We will be planning lots of fun activities as Gaeilge and also a céilí! Bain taitneamh as Seachtain na Gaeilge.

 

Junior and Senior Infants Assembly 25th of February

The Golden Rules we have been working on this week are:

• Walking inside our school
• Using our quiet voices indoors
•  Being kind and gentle

 

 

In January, The M and M theatre company came and visited our school. The four actors put on an amazing show of ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Take a look at the pictures;

 

 

 

Assembly 

During assembly, we like to share all the fantastic work the children have been doing in class and celebrate their achievements. During whole school assembly, we celebrate our whole school community and up and coming events in our school.

We are celebrating following our Golden Rules.

 

We are very proud to be in the Golden Book this week.
